Frosty Fat Festival

Frosty Fat Festival

This is the first annual winter Frosty Fat Festival fundraiser hosted by the XCBC Performance Mountain Bike Team

The race is held at West Bragg Creek trails. All proceeds will go directly towards the riders in our program – race entry fees and a training camp. Thank you for supporting the development of our young riders!

Fat biking in the snow at West Bragg Creek Park offers a unique and exhilarating outdoor experience. West Bragg Creek Park is located in Alberta, Canada, and is known for its beautiful natural scenery and well-maintained trails. Here’s a description of what you might expect when fat biking in the snow at this location:

Snow-Covered Trails:

During the winter months, the park’s trails are transformed into a winter wonderland with a blanket of snow covering the ground. The snow creates a serene and picturesque environment, making it a perfect setting for fat biking.

Fat Bikes:

Fat bikes are specially designed bicycles with oversized tires that provide better traction on snow and other challenging terrains. These bikes allow riders to navigate through the snowy trails with ease, providing stability and control.

Amazing Views:

As you ride through the snow-covered trails, you’ll likely encounter stunning scenic views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and meadows. The park’s landscape is particularly breathtaking in winter, with the snow adding a layer of beauty to the natural surroundings.
