Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area, located in Parkland County, is a scenic mix of woods and lakes that attracts a diversity of birds and other wildlife such as moose, deer, beavers, and more. The 480 acres of woodland is a popular destination for runners, hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders in summer and is groomed for cross-country skiers in winter.
